Members of the AuGlaize Rough Riders Present Cowboy Action Shooting in the style of the American Old West. Come walk the Streets of Henry Hooker's Town and Battle Desperado's and Villains at every station. Five stages of western action at each match plus two or three side matches each month. S.A.S.S. rules will apply (exceptions will be made for first timers) Loaner guns available.
The Cowboy Shoots at Auglaize Village provide a friendly and scenic atmosphere where cowboys and cowgirls can test their shooting skills at the challenging George H. Font III Memorial Rifle and Pistol Range.
Eye protection is required; ear protection is strongly encouraged. Safety is always foremost. $15.00 allows you to shoot any and all main and side matches each shoot. Come join us at Historic AuGlaize Village west of Defiance, Ohio on the Spacious George H. Font III Memorial Rifle and Pistol Range. There is plenty of area for camping and parking. At many of the scheduled shoots throughout the summer and early fall you can view the wares of vendors offering old west and cowboy clothing, gear, shootin' stuff & accouterments. Pictured above is traveling concessioneer Lill E. Pond standing with Cowboy friends in front of his "Cowboy Emporium". You may have talked or done business with Lill before at one of the many Cowboy Shoots across the eastern United States which he frequents.
